STEMed Labs is excited to announce the 2nd annual STEMpreneur series. We are calling all high school computer science enthusiasts and entrepreneurs to apply to our exciting program. Applications are now open!

STEMpreneur is a mashup of STEM & entrepreneurship that consists of two programs: Pi Bytes + 3 Day Startup.

Pi Bytes: An intensive, weekend, month-long computer science class camp that teaches Python programming and electronics on the popular Raspberry Pi platform. This essential knowledge will allow students to prototype traffic-light controllers and other fun games.
3 Day Startup Weekend:  During one intense weekend, the participants in the the 3DS program will brainstorm ideas, conduct market validation, develop business models, build prototypes, create branding, and pitch their ideas to a panel of successful entrepreneurs from the Austin tech and education technology space. The camp will take place at the startup accelerator Capital Factory.

Last year, the program was a huge success and was covered by NPR Marketplace (http://bit.ly/1W49eL4). The program is open to any Central Texas high school student and requires no prerequisite knowledge. You just need to be passionate about learning.

To apply to the program please visit: http://www.stemedlabs.org/stempreneur2016

If you have any questions, please email info@stemedlabs.org. Thanks!
